The brief about these Institutions follows

St. Thomas Educational & Charitable Trust (Regd.)

St. Thomas ECT is a non religious, not for profit, public service trust which addresses to various aspects of human social life and fulfill our responsibilities towards society. It was established in one of hilly States of India ie. Himachal Pradesh during 1990s and is registered with Registrar of Societies, Government of Himachal Pradesh, India. Some of the activities undertaken by trust are:

Education to those who needs it most

St. Thomas School, Barotiwala, HP

Way back in seventies, it was realized that education to poor is first step for their economic development. When rural poor people struggle hard to get food for their livelihood and they are hardly able to earn monthly income of less than even 20 US $, where is the ease of sending their children to Schools for education.

Keeping this in view St. Thomas E&C Trust started its first English Medium Public School in 1986 in a village called Barotiwala in Himachal Pradesh in a rented premises offered kindly by one Late Master Chhanga Ram at nominal rent of 240 $ US per annum. The area has no school even though lots of industries were starting coming up. People even then were interested to see that their children learn English.

The School from day one came with interesting facts. Parents never have seen children in uniform with tie and shoes. They did not know how to polish shoes. They did not think that nail cutting or combing of hair is a necessity. No question of any fees. No money for purchase of books and stationery. After school, students would simply throw away their uniform and shoes and play in dirt. No question of any home work. So the missionary staff turned into social worker involved in actually up liftment of the entire family. The staff guided and trained entire families in day to day shores and soon become a part of problem and frequently called upon to solve husband wife disputes etc.

Even after 22 years of establishment the school still runs on losses, because there is absolutely not only free education to physically challenged students and girl students but also free books, uniforms, free meals, free health hygiene kits etc. There is only a nominal fees of around 2 $US per month to those who can afford. The trust also runs St. Thomas School, Kalka since 2001, where in addition to formal English medium education, the emphasis is on non formal education to village people. This includes Judo/Crate, swimming, toys making, magic, music etc.

Shri B Sharma, Pradhanacharya (Head), OEYR Says About NKG

As a Pradhanacharya of Organisation of Excellence in Yoga & Reiki, I find pleasure in introducing Shri N.K.Goyal. We all know him as telecom man, but there is also another part of his life. He is an in-depth practitioner of Yoga and known for psychic therapy, spiritual healing, acupressure teaching. He has worked as a Yoga teacher in Himachal Pradesh for more than 20 years. When I came in contact with him, I could see a Karmyogi in him, working in business environment without attachment. I was attracted by his magnetic personality.

Shri Goyal has a soft warm smile, which pleases all of us. His talks on psychic therapy work like magic and instantly transform the mind of the other person. He has been declared an Ambassador of God by Swami Anand Sidhartha. When he is around, one gets the feeling of bliss, charm and happiness generating wave of love and affection.

    3. Encounter with Human Being

Whether God Exists!

  1. Emotions

Emotions surround all of us and sometimes they make us worried, angry or happy and at times distressed. If we can learn how to control them and share them with someone who we care then we have learned how to express ourselves in new ways.

Yet at times emotions especially to our dear and near ones are difficult to be expressed for the fear of losing them.

Emotions was the first attempt by Sh. Goyal to pen down emotions relating to work, love and our children. It is particularly addressed to young children who unintentionally inflict millions of wounds on their parents throughout the world and get carried away by untrue emotions by fellow colleagues.

  2. Encounter with God

Encounter with God is the second publication by Shri Goyal after “Emotions”. In this book he has very softly taken out things from his heart that goes deep to our subconscious mind and one realize how answerless we are before God. This book is very helpful for all those who want to learn the true life of human being.

  3. Encounter with Human Being

Human is best creation of God. We find human quite interesting. We encounter human right from the point of coming into this world till we leave, may be even before & after too, which we do not know.

One of the many surprises with all of us human is, we see death always coming to our dear & near ones. We go to criminate their bodies. We console their families. Yet we think “death” is not meant for us. Thousands of us discover only at death that we never lived.

It is delightful to see human, the way they behave, react, response, love, hate, possess, renounce to various things they face, receive in this world.

7. Conflicts in Society made by Humans
Now days present generation live in conflict created by society. Human feels crushed between several conflicts. Rules and regulations won’t make society as flawless; it is about the performance of actions toward it. How much people actually think about these norms. We are just walking as a state of frenzy people without any aim to attain. We accept society as it is without putting our brains in order to scrutinize its base which is the peril of conflicts of the society.
